so, i was watching manhunt with a boyfriend displeased for obvious reasons, but hey, if you can't beat the lusty girlfriend, you might as well join her. since the show is normally too formulaic and prosaic to comment on, i've never talked about it but that will change now. today's episode had the boys in a tizzy playing dressup. dramatic makeup, costumes not so subtly alluding to BDSM. some had no qualms having makeup applied but others were a little squirmy, a tad insecure. and that, girls and all sorts of boys, makes me want to question publicly, why is it men need to assert their masculinity at every given opportunity, and when it's questioned, why do they get their panties or boxers, whatever, in a bunch? it is proven that women doll ourselves up to be able to rise up to the unwaveringly harsh scrutiny of not men, but our own kind. yet, many of us are still secure enough to hold hands with a girlfriend in public without fear of being accused of batting for the other side. so what is it that makes men need to play up their X chromosome and blithely pretend the Y one, which we girls have two of, doesn't exist in their dna? ok, so the obvious answer would be they would rather suffer from erectile dysfunction than be thought of as gay. but boys, what is so wrong with that as long as you are sure of your sexuality? plus, you get them fag hags flocking to you and once they realise you're not the fag to their hag, you might just bag yourself some bootay, no? also, very oddly, if your softer counterparts can be so open and comfortable of their preferences, why shouldn't straight men be even so? limp wristed and oft ridiculed they may be, but they sure are manlier, so to speak, in the sense that they never waver in self-assurance. plus, it's never a turn on to realise how insecure a guy is, however hot he may be, that he needs to go to great lengths to ascertain his sexuality. being comfortable in your skin is sexy. man do i need some answers. all that aside, the object of my shallow lust fuelled dreams has manifested itself in maurice of manhunt.

would you look at that beautiful skin? that gorgeous bald pate? oh those features... but if he and my boyfriend were in a room, i'd still choose the latter. [i was forced to say that]
