i know i'm a few days late but i'd like to say that the month of june has treated me very well. i've gotten two offers to contribute to online magazines, one's a fledgling, the other's up and running. as soon as the term's exams are over, i'll be looking to write for www.nasionalmag.com and www.theurbanwire.com. this hasn't been the first time i've gotten such opportunities from the blog, though the first ever writing gig to land in my lap had some hiccups here and there, one article was still churned out and published. so for the new gigs, i have run, my mysterious reader who passed the blog's url to someone from nasional who then had someone else contact me through friendster. then, i have hatta, a primary school classmate [though he claims to not remember me] who asked if i could contribute for urbanwire. and for the very first one, for the i believe, now defunct HOT magazine, imran. as cheesy as it may sound, it's these things that keep me from not shutting down the blog on impulse. i have my angsty blogger days yknow. so, thank you all so much. and i'm really fine with them being non-paying. honest. so whilst i have my exams to plough head-on through, please go check out the links. once i am done with all manners of scholastic necessity, i'll be furiously a-writing and of course, leave links of my work here. also, on another note of belated june wonderfulness, i've got another gig of sorts coming up in july; some sort small modelling thing for a spa's website which would throw some cash my way. thanks to ean for this. i also would like to thank fate and serendipity for having these people and opportunities cross my path and vice versa. i think this is the karmic gods' way of telling me i must be doing something right.
