my day got off to a great enthusiastic start. what's not to love about a new term and seeing your friends again without the fog of exam tension. alas, my enthusiasm is not without limits and was wavering after break. class dragged on and got progressively boring and then my stressball broke no thanks to ming. everyone either had plans or didn't. and homeward bound i was in the sweltering heat. even my train journey was dogged by unpleasantness. i was trying to engross myself in the opening pages of the da vinci code to which i've finally succumbed, when the rancid mix of canine poo and dried sweat socked me in the face squarely. the primary school boy to my right was the culprit. it was vile vile vile. my olfactory senses ground to an abrupt halt. thankfully he moved away soon thereafter and i could resume breathing normally again. i can't stand little boys of primary school going age. they are smelly and obnoxious and rude and just plain disgusting. i won't be surprised if some of them really have cooties. lunch at home was nary a satisfactory affair. i had glutinous rice that unfortunately was liberally sprinkled with dried shrimp that looked like little maggots. i spent more time picking them out then eating. there's nothing in this world that can make me eat seafood, not even if it's all spread out on jake gyllenhaal's glorious naked body. maybe a million dollars would do the trick. just maybe. we finally might get cable after we spent last night on the bed miserably watching a chinese period drama with horrificly unattractive actors. channel 5 had soccer, a sport which attraction eludes me, unless of course it's the world cup then it's time to exploit the sport for some money.
